• I am an ex-Catholic, an agnostic and a skeptic in terms of spirituality.
• I am third-party (specifically left-libertarian) in terms of political stance.
• I have the personality of a Logician (INTP-T) and the role of an Analyst.
• Among all the other things I am interested in, I have a strong affinity for furries/anthropomorphic animals, along with the notable adjacent affinity of bronies.
• Although I have differing opinions on how it should be used, as an artist, I strongly oppose using Generative A.I. to devalue human creativity and authenticity.

Pencil Artist Studio started on Newgrounds in 2020 for the prime purpose of creating a new hobby of making digital art, posting it online for the world to see and to eventually offer services and opportunities to those who like what I do and/or want to support me because of it.It's other purpose is to show, through visual innovation, the necessity and beauty of striving for greatness while keeping the greater good in mind and being honest with yourself throughout the entire process.To put it simply, Pencil Artist Studio is for those who aspire to go up, do right and be upright through the magic of art and creativity. I am humbled to help you out to help me out to help you out again.

...and this is my life so far.

On May 2001, I was born in the United States and lived on a farm in my childhood years with a mom, a dad, and an older brother, where we mostly did farm-related business. It was a struggle; I can tell you that.Throughout my entire life, I have been living with
PDD-NOS autism. I look at things differently, feel things differently, know things differently, and do things differently to this day. Although I'm not sure if this is a blessing or a curse, at least it's good that I'm high-functioning. Otherwise, I would've been in a worse situation than I am right now.My love for artistry and drawing did not start until my elementary school years. Even though, at that time, I was drawing stick figures, things can evolve. And it did. As I moved from elementary school to elementary school (for neurodiversity reasons), my artistic and drawing skills went from bland to better. In addition, I had generated a few ideas that would become even greater as I grew up.By the time I was attending high school, I realized I needed a name for myself. I devised many names, but they never really stuck with me. That is, except for one. It was still the name I stuck with the most:
Pencil Artist Entertainment.
Although the "Entertainment" part has changed in recent years, the "Pencil Artist" part did not because it represents who I truly was and am: an artist utilizing pencils of all sizes, colors and types to make silly cartoon art.My high school years were also when I experimented with many digital art applications, which were You Doodle, Paper By WeTransfer, and Autodesk Sketchbook. Of all these digital art applications, I chose Autodesk Sketchbook because it broke all my limitations with the other applications. Although it would inevitably become replaced with Krita, I will never forget all the good times and art I made with it. After all, it led me to an art style that surpassed the realm of stick figures and into realistic--well, realistic-ish--anatomy.One day, I decided to make my mark and let my name become known online. On the 1st of October, 2020, during the start of my college years, I started making my career as a cartoon artist on Newgrounds. What followed was a wild ride. I met a lot of and even made friends with people I met online. I drew a whole lot of art, including art for the Pencil Artist Cartoon Universe. I learned something about the dos and don'ts of what to draw. I expanded my business into sites like Twitter/X, Youtube, Tumblr, Fur Affinity, and Ko-Fi. Not only is it a wild ride, it is also fun. Although I am not drawing as much as I did back then, I do not, I repeat, do not, plan on quitting now.While I was drawing, my college years were certainly amazing. It was undoubtedly a challenge in its own merits, but this college taught me so many things that I could ACTUALLY utilize in the future. It taught me philosophy, humanities, finance, culture based on current events, how to do business, CGI and its overcomplicated elements, 2D animation and its less overcomplicated elements, graphic design, motion design, collaboration on projects and how to socialize. Again, it taught me many important things, and I love them all.On the 26th of August, 2023, I graduated college cum laude (with honor) with a Bachelor in Media Communications/Animation and a minor in Business. From there, I was expected to face the unknown as a man. I am unsure how to do that while writing this bio, but I have to at some point.

The Golden Policy

If you would like to share or use my work (artwork or otherwise) in any way, shape or form, I would like you to credit me as soon as possible, specifically under "AreKayHen" and/or "Pencil Artist Studio" even after my timely death for respectfulness's sake. If you don't credit me or don't follow the other policies down below thoroughly, I will call you out for it.

Fan Art

Honestly, I can't stop you from making fan art of any OCs or FCs I have made (ESPECIALLY if it's for my birthday, preferably between the 17th and 23th of every May).However, keep in mind of two things:
• I will only accept fan art based on the characters I currently use and/or characters I have a strong attachment to.
(If you're wondering which of my characters I would most likely like to see in your fan art, in Business, refer to The Characters Of Pencil Artist Studio under Resources or Characters I Currently Use/Characters.
• I will only tolerate fan art, regardless if it's SFE or NSFE, based on the characters you use.
(If you're eighteen years old or older, refer to My Personal Content Spectrum under Resources to see what I allow in each rating. If you're under eighteen, I highly suggest you play it safe.)If you're drawing my characters for the sole intention of claiming them as your own, I will call you out for it.

Reposting

I also can't stop you from reposting my work, as long as you credit me and make sure you keep the watermarks I have used ever since October 1st, 2020. However, if you're claiming my work as yours, regardless if you're impersonating me, I will call you out for it.

Remixing

If you would like to include my art in your art in any way, shape or form, it'd be better to negotiate that with me before you do so. Otherwise, I will call you out for it.

Generative AI & Crypto Blockchains

I highly forbid you giving my work into any Generative AIs as training data or crypto blockchains as NFTs or related crypto assets. If I find out you have done such a thing, I will not just call you out for it, but also take more drastic measures if necessary.
